Earlier this month, the Wireforce team packed up and headed for the Overberg to be part of NAMPO Cape 2026 — and what a few days it was.

Held at Bredasdorp Park from 9 to 12 September, NAMPO Cape is the Western Cape's foremost agricultural showcase, organised by Grain SA together with Bredasdorp Park NPC. This year more than 500 exhibitors filled the grounds under the theme "Together We Grow" - a fitting reminder that farming has always been about partnership, between producers, suppliers and the wider value chain that keeps South African agriculture moving forward.
For us, that theme hit home. Wireforce was proud to visit NAMPO Cape and connect with the farmers, businesses and innovators who rely on strong, dependable wire products every single day.
Our stand put wire front and centre - from agricultural fencing and straining wire on the reel to welded mesh, netting and barbed wire, the everyday workhorses of any farm. There were even welded gabion "rock walls" on display, a reminder that quality wire does far more than just mark a boundary.
As one of the largest manufacturers and converters of wire in Sub-Saharan Africa, we know that behind every roll of wire is a farmer with a job to get done. Seeing our products out in the field, in the hands of the people who use them, is exactly why we make the trip.

Beyond the products, NAMPO Cape gave us a few great days of networking, learning and simply being part of an industry we're proud to support. There's nothing quite like face-to-face conversation — swapping ideas, hearing what's working on farms across the region, and building the relationships that outlast any single season.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello. To the organisers, our fellow exhibitors and the farming community of the Western Cape: thank you for the warm welcome.
We'll see you at the next one. 🌾
