Standards & Droppers

Y STANDARDS

A “Y”-section pattern with ribs on the front and holes in the back.  Recommended for fences ranging from 1.20m high to 2.45m.  Dipped in a coal tar - naphthalene solution.

Light Gauge (2.0kg/m)

‍Recommended for Small stock fences, Jackal proof fences, Railway line fences and Highway fences.

Not suitable for use as an anchor or straining post.

Heavy Gauge (2.3kg/m)

Recommended for Game fences and large stock fences.

Not suitable for use as an anchor or straining post.

I -profile (also known as H-profile)

An  “I”-profile with no ribs on the two legs and holes in the centre section to accommodate wire spacing.  Dipped in a coal tar - naphthalene solution.

Recommended for Small stock and domestic fences, Jackal proof fences, Railway line fences and Highway fences.

Not suitable for use as an anchor or straining post.

K STANDARDS

K Standards are similar in form to Y standards, but are much lighter and cheaper. Dipped in a coal tar - naphthalene solution.

SECURITY STANDARDS

The 450mm overhang of the security standards are available in Flat bar, Round tube, and both Y and K standards. Dipped in a coal tar - naphthalene solution.

Steel Standards and Droppers are coated with black bitumen.

DROPPERS

A “T”-profile with ridges rolled into the top section.  Dipped in a coal tar - naphthalene solution.

For supporting and spacing line wires between line posts in fencing.  Wires are bound by hand.
